"Walser im Wald" concert with "Rainer von Vielen Akustik Duo"

This summer it's Walser in the forest again! For the 14th time, the cozy, rustic stable building at the Damüls vicarage will be transformed into a stage for very special sounds. Every Wednesday evening during the summer vacations, locals and guests alike come together to experience music away from the usual - from jazz to blues to rock.

What makes this concert series so special? The intimate atmosphere, the authentic charm of the venue - and above all the extraordinary artists who will surprise and delight you with their live performances.

On Wednesday, July 30, 2025, the stage will once again be clear at Walser im Wald - and this time you can expect an artist who inspires with heart, depth and musical sensitivity: Pia-Sophie Denz. The Vorarlberg native, who lives in Vienna, is the creative heart of the newcomer project of the same name. She writes her own songs, performs on stage as a guitarist and singer and touches listeners with music that is just as multi-layered as she is. Her compositions are sensitive and haunting, yet never pathetic. The earthy sound of her mostly retuned guitar meets the clear as a bell sound of her voice - precisely applied and full of feeling.

What at first sounds like a classic singer-songwriter quickly unfolds into something unique: rhythmically sophisticated, narratively strong and emotionally profound. Pia hits the heart with her music - unaffected, personal and authentic.
